Skins

If you are like me, then a plain white field just doesn't seem proper after awhile-especially if you've played the Dungeon Dice Monsters game for the Game Boy Advanced. Compared to the game with so many different fields, seeing a plain field just isn't all that... um...thrilling. If you know how edit and produce graphics, by all means make your own new field skin. Actually, even of you aren't all that experienced in graphics a DDMO field skin is simple enough to make using a basic program almost every computer has: Paint! ^-^

Stop giving me weird looks! >.> Yes MsPaint can be used to make a field; if you know how to use the program that is.

To all those who do know how to edit graphics, use the 'playfield.GIF' picture located under the Skins->Default files. Also, if you want to change the dungeon squares for the paths made when the die is unfolded on the field, edit 'p1duneon.jpeg' for player one, and 'p2dungeon.jpeg' for player two. 'Crestpool.jpeg 'is the default for the Crest Pool skin.

Make sure you name them the same thing, otherwise you'll have to edit the default.ini file. (or if you are computer savvy you can create your own .ini skin file)

Also, be sure to save the images in the same folder or you'll have to go through the hassle of typing out the location you saved it.

If you need to edit the default.ini file, ONLY edit the names in these lines (otherwise consider your DDMO gone if you can't fix what you edited) Only re-save the file if you are sure you've edited it properly.

*Note: I will try and get some skins made for you to download : )

This is so you won't have to mess with it and potentially ruin your game settings.

Also, if you have a request, please contact me to see if we can work something out. One more idea I had was to make some field skins with obstacles to make it more challenging to play the game. But, like I said, contact me if you have any questions, requests, or ideas. ^-^;*

The only language available for this game is English. Veratil made this DDMO game, and that was the only one he used. The majority of DDM users speak only this language so he didn't see a need to enclose another. Sorry to those who do not understand. Possibly a French and Spanish language pack could be assembled by me or him in the future need be.

-Sets

So far, there is only one set of released Dungeon Dice Monsters monsters. Obviously the card game was more popular, so DDM didn't do well enough for Konami to continue with. Hopefully if more interest is showed in this game, which most don't even know exists, and then possibly in the future more dice will be released. Until then though, we must make due with the ones we have.
